If you’re a mompreneur or a mom in general, I don’t have to tell you about the challenges we can experience trying to balance family, work, personal well-being, etc. It’s like something new pops up every day!
And many of us don’t have a “village” to rely on so navigating this journey can feel lonely at times, especially if you’re a mompreneur with young children. That’s exactly what inspired “Maternity Leave“– this podcast is dedicated to providing support, guidance, and inspiration for busy mamas like you and me.
Business and Entrepreneurship: Business Strategy for Busy Parents by Busy Parents
I don’t have many entrepreneurial friends (yet!) so, I found myself feeding my drive and motivation by listening to my favorite YouTubers and podcasters, but as a stay-at-home mom with a toddler, a lot of their productivity hacks and morning routines for success didn’t speak to my reality at all, and it got discouraging at times.
I finally accepted that I’m just in a very different stage in life than they are, and that’s OK. So, instead, I sought inspiration from people I could relate to. I decided to start interviewing like-minded parent entrepreneurs who’ve been on this journey I ended up having some amazing conversations and learning a lot along the way.
If you can relate, and you want business insights and inspiration from other parent entrepreneurs who bet on themselves and managed businesses while raising little ones give this podcast a listen.
Parenting for Mompreneurs: Family, Work, and Everything in Between
And speaking of little ones, while I’m all about my business, raising happy, healthy, and intelligent humans is my main priority, so I took this opportunity to interview a plethora of experts in differing fields from a water safety coach and child reading specialist to a pediatric health coach and an award-winning family therapist. If you’re a parent with young children, you’ll definitely want to tune in to these conversations as well.
Health and Wellness: How to Thrive in Your Motherhood Journey
As a dietitian nutritionist, I have to cover health and wellness-related topics as well, because as cliche as it sounds, health is wealth. Making strides to optimize our health and mental well-being is essential if we want to stick around as long as we can for our families and enjoy the fruits of our labor. I’m a busy mom so I’m talking about totally achievable busy-parent strategies.
